Top 5 Food Delivery Apps on Android in Ghana: Q2 2025 Overview

The second quarter of 2025 saw varied performance among the top food delivery apps on the Android platform in Ghana. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we delve into the trends in downloads and active users for each app.

Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway, published by Bolt Technology from Estonia, maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at approximately 5.9K in mid-April. Weekly active users showed a slight increase, starting at around 45.6K and closing the quarter at nearly 48.7K.

India's Blinkit: Grocery in 10 minutes saw a notable rise in downloads, particularly in late June, reaching about 6.6K. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at 14.5K in mid-June.

Glovo: Food & Grocery Delivery, from Spain, experienced a moderate download trend with a high of 1.3K in mid-April. Active users exhibited a slight decline, starting at over 73K and ending at roughly 70.6K.

Swiggy: Food Instamart Dineout also from India, had a low download rate but saw a peak of 2.2K in late June. Active users decreased from about 22.8K at the start to 16.8K at the end of the quarter.

Finally, Zepto:10-Min Grocery Delivery* showed an upward trend in downloads, peaking at 1.7K in late June. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at around 7.5K.
